Welcome to the PPL Readers' Advisory Book Source
Goals of the Genre Meetings
- Become better acquainted with a variety of book genres.
- Harvest what we've read for RA use when a customer asks us for a book suggestion.
As you are reading:
- If you find that you cannot bear to read the entire book, by all means, put it down and pick up a different one. We want to hear your comparison!
- Think about how your book compares to books from other genres.
- What's the tone, pacing, and frame of your selection?
